Draft. These terms are a working draft published so the product can record consent against a specific version. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer, and the operator's registered details and sub-processor list are still to be filled in. If you need a signed agreement before entering business records, ask for one first.

1. What this service is

MontagemDrive is a record of vehicles and what they cost: purchase price, running costs, odometer readings, reminders, documents you upload, and disposal price. It computes cost of ownership from what you enter. It is not an accounting system, a fleet-operations system, or a source of tax or legal advice.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your credentials safe. You may enable two-factor authentication at any time, and it is required for platform administrators. Do not share one account between people — invite them as members instead, so that the audit trail means something.

3. Your data is yours

You may export your account and your records at any time, in a machine-readable format, at no charge and on every plan. You may delete your account at any time. Neither is a paid feature and neither ever will be: an export you have to pay for is not portability.

4. Plans and limits

Plans differ only in limits — how many active vehicles and how many members — never in features. Every plan has every feature. Vehicles you have disposed of do not count against your limit: your history is always free. If you drop to a lower plan, nothing is deleted or hidden; you simply cannot add the next vehicle until you are back inside the limit, and you choose what to retire.

5. Availability

The service is provided as-is, without an uptime commitment. It is early software. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose — the export in §3 exists for that.

6. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. If you own a company record with other members, transfer ownership or delete the company first — otherwise deleting your account would strand their data.

7. Data processing (needs review)

For your account data, the operator is the data controller. For the vehicle records you enter on behalf of a company, the company is the controller and the operator acts as a processor on its behalf: the operator processes those records only to provide the service, does not use them for anything else, does not sell them, and deletes them on request or at the end of the agreement. Sub-processors (hosting, email, payments) will be listed in the privacy policy before any of them is used in production.

This section is the one that most needs a lawyer, because it is a contract term rather than a notice. It is written here so the shape is visible, not because it is finished.

8. Changes

If these terms change materially, the version above changes and you are asked to accept the new one. Your previous acceptance, and which version it was, is recorded.
